Nice guide! installed Win7 Home Premium (x86) via a usb DVD drive and all working fine (networking, peripherals, sound, although not tested HDMI yet).

Used Ubunto 9.10 cd and the partition utility to set up the partitions first.

thanks but where to find "revobuild", I only have "acer recovery" but no way to backup the drivers to a USB key, only a DVD player and I have none!
I am in France and the ACer Revo did not come with all the features (no linux part for example)
Thanks!
